Monday Dec 07, 2020
Monday Dec 07, 2020
In this episode, we have the pleasure of interviewing John Roth who was a commercial airline pilot for 20 years when his life was turned upside down by a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. Since then he has been fighting for the ability of type 1 diabetics to earn a Class 1 and 2 medical certifications so that he and others can resume or pursue a career in aviation. We get into his struggles with the government, his diagnosis, and how he maintains such tight blood sugar control.
If you would like to contact John to show support or get guidance, you can contact him via email or social media.
